Code of Conduct

• Set a good example by modeling the highest standard of sportsmanship and composure.

• Maintain a professional relationship with the coach and avoid confronting the coach immediately following the game.

• Wait 24 hours after a League-Related Event (practice or game) before discussing concerns with the coach or League Commissioner.

• Never criticize a coach, player, or the Bluegrass Varsity Soccer League in a public manner, including through email or social media.

Each parent, their guests and their son agrees to

• Refrain from using foul language at club events and from abusing, harassing, or berating any players, coaches, referees, opponents or spectators. This includes booing and taunting, refusing to shake hands or the use of profane language or gestures.

• Refrain from coaching or otherwise instructing players during practices or games.

• Use best efforts to have the player on time for all practices and games.

• Promote the game and Bluegrass Varsity Soccer League in a positive way.
